V1935 Luxurious Apartments
V 1935 is a fully renovated Classic Pre-World War II building of 9 apartments. Behind its heavy iron door, the building's entrance is decorated with colorful orange, black and white marble tile, a reflection of its glorious past, with a reception in the lower level and a roof garden on the 6th floor where you can be served the best Pizza and pasta in town, drinks and Cocktails.
Each apartment is fully renovated with extra care, keeping and highlighting the characteristic atmosphere and features of the buildings age. High ceilings with classical decorations, wooden or marble floors and bright colors combined with antique or collectible furnishings to create a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere that will make you feel immediately at home.
Each apartment has its own character and style and can accommodate from 2 up to 6 persons.
It is located in the famous plaka in a central road of Athens, which can be reached by metro (Acropolis Station), Bus, Tram or Taxi.
1-minute walking distance from Syntagma square (and metro station) where the Parliament and the National Garden are, and 3 minutes walking distance from Zappion and the Panathenaic Stadium (where the classic Marathon ends).
It is 7 minutes walking distance from the museum of Acropolis (and metro station Acropolis), 10 minutes walking distance from Acropolis and Parthenon,
Normal amenities such as fluffy white cotton towels, freshly ironed bed sheets, shower gel and shampoo are provided for everyone.
All rooms are air conditioned. Hot water is provided by a central gas system which also provide the flats heating.
Voulis Street is a lively and safe location offering a great variety of shops, restaurants and coffee shops, including essential services such as Banks, Post Office, laundry, etc... Restaurants offer Greek cuisine as well as Indian, Chinese, Mexican and Japanese, sundry wine bars, and other known establishments such as KFC, McDonald's and more.
If you prefer to eat at home, there is a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal to make cooking a pleasant experience. Supermarkets, bakeries, convenience and liquor stores, greengrocers and butcher store are within walking distance too.

V1935 LOCATION
The building is located in Plaka, which is the old historical neighborhood of Athens, around the northern and eastern slopes of the Acropolis, with labyrinthine streets and neoclassical architecture. Plaka is built on top of the residential areas of the ancient town of Athens. It is known as the "Neighborhood of the Gods" due to its proximity to the Acropolis and its many archaeological sites. Inside Plaka there is a picturesque area called Anafiotika. Steps from Maria Callas Museum and Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens.
It has also many restaurants where you can taste the traditional greek food, as well as bars, cafes and shops.

Many Athens center nightlife hotspots such as Plaka, Thisseion, Monastiraki, Psyrri, Gkazi and Kolonaki can be directly reached by foot, Metro or bus and trolley.
On the other side, 5 minutes walking distance there is another Athenian neighborhood called Koukaki where you can find many small cafes, bars and bistros.
At Syntagma square, there is also a bus or a tram station, which can transfer you to the southern suburbs of Athens, such as Glyfada, Voula and Vouliagmeni, where there are organized beaches to enjoy the sea and the sun. The beautiful Athens Riviera with wonderful white sand beaches, beach bars, restaurants and water sports is half an hour away from home by car or bus.
The Temple of Poseidon at Sounio by the sea is one of the must-see sights. You can go there by car or by car or bus just 1,5 hours away.

Metro as well as Airport Bus X95 are both 250m away from the apartment. Syntagma Square lies at the very heart of the city, most buses, trolleys and the tramway have a stop nearby. As to taxis, just walk over to the square and you will find them lined up waiting for customers. If you plan to bring your own car, keep in mind that parking is always a problem in any large city center. Still, there are plenty of parking garages available in the neighborhood for a variety of prices.
